Michael Woywode is professor at the ifm and as head of the chair, he coordinates a team of 25 researchers with academic backgrounds in economics, business administration, psychology, sociology, business informatics, economic geography and political science. Michael Woywode studied business administration, earnt his doctorate in economics and is today Chair for SME Research and Entrepreneurship at University of Mannheim. As head of the chair, he has led several inter- and transdisciplinary research projects, such as the sub-project in the DFG research program “interdisciplinary research on enterprise formation”, investigating technological change and its implications for political and corporate governance.
