The Institute for SME Research and Entrepreneurship (ifm) is part of the Area Management at the Business School of the University of Mannheim. The team "Digitalization of SMEs" studies the adoption of digital technologies by entrepreneurs and SMEs, how digital technologies shape the emergence and proliferation of organizational concepts anf forms and how these developments shape existing fields and industries or create new ones.
