Research Partners and Project Partners

platforms2share is a team of young scientists who want to take a critical look at current trends in the platform economy. Our project is a cooperation between the Institute for SME Research and Entrepreneurship (ifm) at the University of Mannheim, the Institute for Ecological Economy Research (IÖW) in Berlin and the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics (IBP) in Stuttgart.

In addition, we develop our project together with different partners in the field in order to produce socially relevant research results. These project partners – platform providers with different organizational and technological set-ups – continuously accompany our research group over the entire project period. They are involved in formulating specific research questions, the conduction of empirical research, and in the discussion and dissemination of results.
