Im Rahmen der globalen Plattformökonomie bietet der Plattform-Kooperativismus eine Alternative zu bestehenden Monopolen. Zu Platform Coops zählen neben Genossenschaften mit digitalem Geschäftsmodell auch andere Unternehmensformen, deren Fokus auf kooperativem Wirtschaften und einem Umdenken bezüglich Eigentums und Mitbestimmung liegt. Mit dem Ziel, ein Innovationsnetzwerk und nachhaltiges Unterstützungssystem für Platfom Coops in Deutschland aufzubauen, wurde 2020 die Platform Cooperatives Germany eG gegründet. Das Team aus erfahrenen AkteurInnen aus der Platform Coop-Szene veranstaltet regelmäßig Community Calls und andere Events. Am 20. Mai 2021 wird es in einem Online-Workshop um den Gründungsprozess einer Platform Coop gehen. Dabei sollen Fragen zu „Geschäftsmodell, Satzung, Finanzierung und Unternehmensform“ beantwortet sowie weitere Schritte, die bei der Gründung einer Platform Coop zu beachten sind, diskutiert werden.

Which steps are crucial when founding a platform coop? Platform Cooperatives Germany eG is offering a workshop on May 20, 2021 to support those interested in setting up a platform coop with questions about the business model, financing, and the form of the company.

In the context of the global platform economy, platform cooperativism offers an alternative to existing monopolies. Platform coops include cooperatives with a digital business model as well as other forms of enterprise whose focus is on cooperative business and a rethinking of ownership and co-determination. With the aim of establishing an innovation network and sustainable support system for platform coops in Germany, Platform Cooperatives Germany eG was founded in 2020. The team of experienced actors from the platform coop scene regularly organizes community calls and other events. On May 20, 2021, an online workshop will focus on the founding process of a platform coop. Questions about the business model, articles of association, financing and form of company will be addressed and other steps that need to be taken into account when founding a platform coop will be discussed.
