Founded in 2015 as NextB, the platform was renamed in 2017 as WeiterGeben.org and is Germany’s first platform designed to support the reuse of commercial furniture. Aiming to save resources, WeiterGeben is acting like an intermediary between donors of furniture (mostly school-, hotel-, shop- and office-furniture) and potentially interested receivers. WeiterGeben's primary target groups are NGOs (non-profit-organisations). Next WeiterGeben.org wants to expand its activities throughout Europe and build networks for furniture-upcyclers.
